Honda CB125R 2024

Euro 5+ engine, CB650R inverted fork, CB1000R TFT counter and new colors

Single-cylinder 124.9 cc, 15 HP and 11.6 Nm, 130 kg in running order

Last fall, Honda took advantage of international fairs to reveal all the changes to its range for 2024. At least, almost all of them, because the Japanese manufacturer has just announced something new for its CB125R roadster.

Launched on the market to accompany the CB125F with a more premium positioning and a more dynamic style dictated by the Neo Sports Café concept, the CB125R offers some small aesthetic, technical and technological innovations.

Firstly, its 125 cm3 single-cylinder is renewed to meet the requirements of the latest Euro 5+ standard that will be mandatory at the end of the year. In fact, the monkey continues to deliver 15 HP and 11.6 Nm of torque.

However, the road behavior should vary a little, as the CB-R is equipped with a new Showa SFF-BF (Showa Separated Function Big Piston) inverted fork with a diameter of 41 mm and taken directly from the medium-displacement CB650R .

For 2024, the roadster also draws on the CB1000R’s equipment, taking over the 5-inch TFT odometer. The latter allows you to choose between four displays for speed and engine speed. The different functions are controlled by the new left switch.

Finally, Honda is also reworking its decorations with now four colors: gray, white, red and metallic blue. The price of the 2024 vintage has not yet been made official. In 2023 it would cost 4,999 euros.
